Hey Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

I hope your day was blessed and good things came and you didn’t slip and fall on anything snow-like if you live by us. It’s gonna snow some more I guess tomorrow. Ally prayed to receive Christ today, and I also got a couple of good seeds planted. One with Amber who had a square pretty face and long eyelashes, blonde and brown hair up in a bun. And Jake who took a copy of the student edition of The Case for Christ and looked like my nephew Anders a bit, though his hair was strawberry blonde. Both thanked me and were grateful to have heard the Gospel.

Ally was up on the second floor and was the first person I talked to. She was waiting for her class to begin and wearing her camel colored long coat still and black boots with flowers stitched into the toes. She had brown hair and a pretty face, looked big bundled up in her coat.  She had a thin gold ring in her septum and a pretty face, brown hair. When I asked her what she would say to God if He asked why should I let you into Heaven she said, “Hmm, I’d say… I don’t know. I don’t think it’s up to me to decide why, he decides or knows why I do.” She thought she had a 50% chance of going to Heaven. So I began to go through the Gospel with her. I explained that God wanted to live inside her but had to make her His type by talking away her sin. When I asked her what had Jesus done to take away the sins of the world she said, “He gave his only Son.” Which quoted the verse I just read to her moments before. I explained Jesus’ death and cleansing blood and His imputed righteousness, with several illustrations. And that if she received this by faith she could be saved if she believed Jesus was God had died for her sins and rose from the dead. “Not that you just know the story but that you place your trust in that to be forgiven so that if someone would say to you, ‘Why should God let you into Heaven?’ you’d say, ‘Because Jesus died for me.” I asked din the end if she wanted to be forgiven for her sins trusting in Jesus or thought something else she said, “I would like to know more about that, pointing at the circle with God inside. So I explained that if she would want to trust in Christ there was a prayer she could pray and that then the Spirit would live inside her and she could live the Christian life by His power, “Inside Out” explaining His power to her.  So I said if she’d like she could pray the prayer I had walked her through so only God would hear. “Would you like to do it?” “Yeah,” she replied and she prayed to receive Christ. I began to explain the Christian life to her then more and offered her a Bible and she needed one. I showed her the Where to Turn  section and explained there was one with messianic passages. I wrote her name and the date and “forgiven” in the front and she thanked me and said something like, “You know it’s funny, I was just praying this morning saying I wanted to get God more into my life. So thank you so much!” I said I thought it was possible God had sent me to her in answer to her prayer though I did not know exactly how those things worked. And she agreed. Her class was starting and a friend in plaid pajama pants had asked her if she was going in as she began to pray and she said in a minute. So I quickly gave her a copy of Bible Promises for You and a Bible study. I stood up with her as she stood to go offering her my hand. She turned it down saying again, “Thank you so  much. I’m gonna give you a hug.” I gave her a strong hug saying, “Thank you that’s kind of you.” And she headed into class with her new Bible, happy. She’d lifted my heart.

So thanks for your prayers for the ministry and for evangelism today if you had a chance. God truly blessed me and life was good.

 Blessings,

Bob
