Hey Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I hope you day was a good one walking with the Lord. I had a good day on campus and met with Hope for an hour and 15 minutes or so. I had gone through the Gospel with her on Tuesday. She emailed me to get a time to talk some more. She is on the brink, almost willing, to commit to Christ but seems to have some uncertainty. I encouraged her to ask God for faith and gave her a Bible showing her the “Where to Turn” section in the back. I also gave her a couple different Bible Studies and explained walking by the Spirit. I answered all her questions and she wants to meet again some time. We just sat in the airport style chairs the line the walls in the Big lounge where we have Bible study on Tuesdays. She can’t come to Bible study as she works 5 nights a week. So I hope the Lord will bring her to Himself soon and the next time I see her she will have received Jesus. She has friends from the city she last lived in who have given their lives to Christ and she can see their lives have changed in their social media posts and that has made her curious. Her dad is a Christian as is her sister. I gave her 20 Things God Can’t Do to read, she had finished reading the student edition of The Case for Christ I had given her Tuesday and watched some of Strobel’s videos on YouTube. So thanks for your prayers for her. Her dad had not found a church so I gave her a card with the website for Compass Church since they live in Naperville.
Josh was close to receiving Christ today too. I gave him the student edition of The Case for Christ and he went to his reception desk (where he works in the Science Building Lounge) after we talked. Ten minutes later I walked by and he’d left his desk for a moment, but I looked over the counter and the book was open and he was reading it so that was great. I think the Gospel made sense to him for the first time. He asked me to come by and say hi some time, so I’ll look him up again.
Thanks for your prayer for the Ministry and evangelism today if you had a chance God blessed.
In Him,
Bob
