Hey Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
I hope your day was blessed. I had a good day on campus though no one came to Christ. Jojo a big guy with glasses and curly topped hair looked Black and Filipino who wanted to believe the Gospel but struggled to believe the Bible. I gave him a copy of the rose publication “Why Trust the Bible” I said maybe if it helped I’d see him in heaven. If he saw me there he’d say he’d tell people, “This is the guy who gave me my ticket”.
A pretty black girl had her straight hair pulled up and back and half round glasses. Her name was Pashun (passion) and she began to cry when I explained God had forgiven her. She already had been trusting in Christ but thought that her recent moral failures meant God would not forgive her any longer. “If you keep doing the same thing He gives up on you,” she said. I explained that the Bible says, “Though we are faithless he is faithful.” and “No one can separate us from the Love of God”. I gave her a Rose Pamphlet “Bible Promises for Hope and Courage” as she wiped the tears away and a Bible study on forgiveness and the book Pocket Prayers. I was really great to help her understand her security in Christ and that she was sealed by the Spirit. It was a good day and I got some good seeds planted too.
